This is an image that I had hoped to take on my two previous trips to the Flinders Ranges, but repeated visits on those left me empty handed in what I had envisaged. Finally on my third trip in 2012 all the elements came together at last and the landscape lit up spectacularly in the late afternoon sunlight.
