I was in the far south of Tasmania and despite it being the middle of summer it was a cold, wet and windy morning. I knew there was an image to be made from this unique and tranquil bay. I persisted in what may have seemed like pointless conditions for some time trying to get the image I was after. Finally the sun broke through the cloud and as it shone through the rain it projected a soft diffused light across the scene. I worked as fast as I could to make the most of the moment and get the image that I was after.
