This particular spot is the only location on the entire Bass coast where the sedimentary sandstone has a subtle colour shift from the usual grey/ochre tones. The stone here has a soft mauve hue to it making it even more conducive to lighting up under the twilight sun. On this particular occasion the warm golden light of a summer dawn vividly paints the coastal cliffs and I was fortunate enough to be there to capture the moment.
