Basically at the end of the road, about 1 km further on behind me is as far south as you can drive in Australia. I have always loved the wilderness down in southern Tasmania, the azure waters of Cockle creek are to behold. But even in mid summer the weather can be like winter. This particular occasion it was under 10C degrees with gusty showers sweeping through. It all adds to the mood and wild nature of this stunning landscape. |
