It was an absolutely incredible day out over the Lake Eyre and I had charter a flight with the door off for 'cleaner' image shooting. What an experience! Looking and shooting out a plane at it's slowest possible speed of 80kts at 300ft over this mind blowing place. The drying waters had created algal blooms turning some of the lower sections of the lake around SIlcrete Island a magical pink hue.
