A series of thunderstorms roams across the deserts in the remote north of South Australia. In what is a rare event, they track across Lake Eyre which has a significant volume of water in it. You can make out the water in the lake to the left of frame. Generally if there are any thunderstorms in this part of the country it would be in the warmer months and if the Lake did have water it would have evaporated by this time.
