A deep low pressure system over SE Victoria packing wind gusts of upto 150km/h and this deluge of 170mm in one day in the Strzelecki Ranges. With this sort of rain on already sodden ground every gully and tributary turns into a raging torrent, this one is no exception! To say that shooting in these conditions is a challenge is an understatement. I also had to chainsaw my way out as trees fell across the road before it too flooded over.
