I found this majestic lone Queensland bottle tree (Brachychiton ruspestris) on a ridgeline way out in the outback. I then proceeded to set up my 6x17 film camera and shutter release for an 8hour long exposure. With a bit of hand spotlighting once the shutter was open I lit the tree and foreground. This is the result of 8hrs of the earth's rotation. You can see a vertical streak in the sky which is a very bright meteorite burning up on it's entry in to the earth's atmosphere.
