A bitter afternoon of waiting and watching perched on the slopes of Mt Hotham finally paid off. I had been watching the grey mosts drift through for nearly an hour only offering muted light and tones. Confident in my location and composition I persisted in the near zero degree temperature and sub zero windchills. Eventually the light broke and went nuts for almost 1 minute in total. I grabbed my shot just in time before it vanished as quickly as it arrived.
