The weather in the mountains has an evocative mood all of it's own that can literally turn in minutes. On this particular day it looked very unlikely that I would see any nice light. All of a sudden a late burst of light pierced the cloudds and combined with an early season burst of snow to make a magical mix of colour and textures.
