In one of the many secluded side canyons well up the main gorge I revisited this spot I had first 'found on an earlier trip to the gorge several years prios. After the long walk in I was sitting in the shade taking in my surrounds and I was drawn to the textures and details of what was in front of me. Sometimes it's the less noticable things that we don't plan to photograph that can bring out our most evocative work.
