The combination of coastal spinifex, basalt boulders and cliffs make parts of Phillip Island's southern coastline pretty hard to navigate. This particular dawn near Pyramid rock I decided on a different perspective. Using a slow shutter speed to smooth out the waves and ocean thus highlighting the details in the basalt and spinifex with the lovely morning light hitting them.
